Beavers - Sea Life Centre Sleepover

Attendees must sign-up in advance via Online Scout Manager (OSM) invitation. Invitations will be sent shortly.

We're going to a sleepover at the SEALIFE centre at Loch Lomond!

This is a joint sleepover between the 15th Eaglesham Beavers and Cubs with 20 spaces (including leaders) for each group. Therefore as we have a limited spaces they be allocated on a first come first served basis. We have exclusive use of the facilities.

Kit

Cub/ Beavers Uniform

Rucksack containing, Water Bottle, Quiet Time Activity

Sleeping Bag, PJs, Roll Mat + Pillow, Blanket/Teddy, Comforts

Toothbrush/ Wash Items

Program Timings

6pm - Arrival

6:45- 7:45 pm - Tour

7:45- 8:15 pm - Set up camp in the Sealife centre tunnel (remember your roll mats and sleeping bags)

8:15 pm - Aquarium lights off

8:15 - 8:45pm - Hot dog in Coffee shop

8:45 pm - Movie in Cinema with popcorn

Bedtime once movie is finished

6:30am - Lights on

6:30 to 7am - Get ready and packed up

7am - 8am - Continental Breakfast

8am - Departure

Parent Helpers

We may need parent helpers to attend but don't know if / how many until numbers are confirmed, but if you are interested in joining us please let us know.

Extra Info

Due to the timings of the event, an additional change of clothes is not required but can be packed if you so desire.

All Cubs and Beavers should eat dinner before arriving as no substantial meal will be served at night.

Please do not pack snacks or food. This helps us stay allergy-safe.

First Aid.

Our group will be equipped with their own first-aid kits and administer our own first-aid where possible.

Medication.

Must be in a zip lock plastic bag with the Cubs/beaver name on the outside

Food.

Kids should be fed before arrival. No substantial meal will be given at night. A hot dog will be provided by the Sealife Centre in the evening and then popcorn will be provided for the movie.

Breakfast is being provided

Please do not give your child snacks. Food and drink (other than water) is not permitted in the sleeping area and should only be consumed where served.

Photographs.

Photographs will be getting taken throughout the night. Due to the size of the event, it will be hard to manage photo permission. It is likelihood of your child of being photographed in the background of other groups pictures.
