**Since Anna left us in Summer 2019 we have been looking for a new volunteer to join our Beavers Leadership team, if you are interested please speak to Scott or Jacqueline**
The adults running our Beaver Colony are unpaid volunteers who have completed or are undergoing Scout Association training. The current Leadership team is:
Beavers Leader - Scott McGowan
Scott has been a leader at our Beavers Colony since 2002 and took over as Section Leader in 2015.
Although he has never lived in the village himself, Scott has family ties to Eaglesham stretching back to the 1800's and possibly further.
During the week Scott works for a Civil Engineering Consultant in the Rail industry.
After a 6 year hiatus we were delighted when Jacqueline decided to re-join our Beaver Colony in 2015 after a previous stint as a leader between 2004 and 2008.
In her spare time Jacqueline is a keen photographer and enjoys spending time with her family, particularly watching sport with her son, and doing 'girlie' stuff with her daughter, however her favourite family pastime is taking seaside walks at her caravan at the Solway firth.
Beavers Helper - Amy Clark
Our very own Olympic Gold Medallist, Amy is the daughter of our former Beavers leader Kirsty. Amy first joined Eaglesham Scout Group as a Beaver in 2006 and has also progressed through Cubs and Scouts.
Amy is a keen Rhythmic Gymnast and in summer 2015 did us all proud by winning 4 medals at the Special Olympics in Los Angeles, 1 Bronze, 2 Silver and 1 Gold. GO AMY!
Explorers / DofE Helpers
We often have helpers from our Explorers section who join us as part of the work they do towards The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
